Restaurant Description: If you can stand the Deep Ellumm surroundings, the weird people, and an occasional beggar, then this is a restaurant worth the venture. I had won a gift certificate to this restaurant and was about to try it with a date. We went on a Tuesday night. I had all but forgotten Deep Ellumn is a ghost town Monday and Tuesday nights but we got a parking spot right up front. I started out with their Lobster Bisque, which is a signature dish of this restaurant. My date had the Mozzarella & tomato salad, which she really liked. For entrees I had the New York Strip and she had the Baked stuffed Shrimp. The steak was good, but not as good as the shrimp, which my date had to share with me. Rule #1 of hanging with a food critic, you have to share everything. Dinner for two and a bottle of wine came in about $80.
