For over 42 years this restaurant is the standard to judge home cookin. As they say “Ain’t Nothin’ Finer” and that really sums it all up. This is a main stay for lunch and breakfast and every item from their pie to turnip greens is five star. Don’t be afraid of the large lines and less than sightless location for the restaurant. Its worth every dollars of the $7.25 daily specials. Grab a menu to go, each day has 7 or eight specials, each more mouth watering than the other. Each entrée is served with a choice of three vegetables also. I do suggest going there on a day the boss is out, you will want to take a nap after eating all the good food and licking clean your plate.

The interior is adorned with horse and jockey pictures as this local breakfast favorite has been around from years. Always filled for breakfast, especially on weekends this spot has been frequented by patron for decades.
