If your on a date and want to get to biggest bang for your buck, this is the place to go. This Highland Park restaurant can have long waits but nothing is short on the service or the food. It’s got a nice happy hour crowd also. We went there with a group of 8 people and the highlights were the crab claws, mussels, and calamari for appetizers, any pizza, salmon farfalle, or baked ziti. Believe this or not with a couple of bottles of wine, some cosmos, and a handful of beers our bill for 8 came to only $177.

Truly one of the last veritable old school Dallas restaurants. Family owned and operated still to this day by a Campisi, its location and menu hasn’t changed since its birth with a couple of new locations as the only modification to this Dallas must-stop. Begin your experience with the shrimp scampi, a dish that is rich and too delicious for words. Soon after, order any pizza from the menu with whatever topping pleases your palates and you won’t be disappointed. The rest of the menu ain’t half bad either! Campisi’s has a great little wine selection and its staff always makes it a wonderful time. Bring a romantic or business date, both will delight in your taking them there!
