Even though they just won D-Magazine's award for best filet...I tried their wonderful T-bone. It goes to say why they are consistently one of the top 10 steak houses in the country. The plate comes out sizzling hot like a plate of fajitas, and after it cools down enough to eat, it's truly heaven. Their peppercorn gravy was equally good with the skillet fried potatoes as it was on the steak. The bar was loaded with the who's who of Dallas. Reservations are a must.

While it’s a great spot to meet a first date, you can’t have a long talk over the music, and that' may be a good thing. This bar/restaurant was voted by Playboy magazine as the best bar in Dallas. It’s atmosphere is upbeat, Cuban and the air is filled with the smell of expensive cigars. This place is frequently by the who’s who of Dallas and it's a spot that makes a great happy hour place to people watch. I had the Pesado (Chilean Sea Bass), one of their specials. It’s grilled with tomato mojo and served with sofrito rice. My date had the Xinxim (Sauteed Shrimp and Chicken) which is served in coconut broth with toasted cashews over rice. For the appitizers we shared the Camaromes (coconut crusted shrimp) served with pineapple jam. Everything was extra-ordinary. On other occasions I can recommend the Lechon (Roast Pork Tenderloin), Pargo (Whole Red Snapper) and the Pollo Caribe (Jerk Chicken) as an appetizer. Want a great martini they make it.
