Our star rating system rates the quality of food. 
We feel there are 5-Star Barbecue joints, which might be a dive as you would expect, but the food is exceptional.  Realize, that a 5-Star Barbecue joint is only competing with a 5-Star Steakhouse on taste.

About our Business Traveler Rating System

In each of our cities, we try to select between 100-750 listings for the categories of Power Lunch, Deal Closing Dinners, Hot Spot Happy Hours, Out-of-Town Romance, Sports Bars, Night Clubs and Local Diners.  These restaurants ratings may be of various stars, but the places are being recommend to business travelers for the above categories.

Search Results Help

Name: (Keyword) Search

To find one or more Restaurant containing a keyword(s), type the word in the search box.

Example:
"burger" finds results that contain the word "burger"

"burger king"
finds results that contain the phrase "burger king"
this result will not return a result with "The King of Burgers" in it.

Problems with special characters listing like the word "Bob's"
Enter "Bob" or characters up to special character for best results
 

Name: (Begins) Search

To find one or more words, type them in order into the search box.

Example:
"Burger" finds all results that Start with the word "Burger"

"burger king"
finds results that Start with the phrase "burger king"

Problems with listing like "The Flying Sauce"
Listings may or may not contain "The" , "A", "AN'
It would be best in search for the keyword "Flying" in the Name: (Keyword) search method.

 

Zip Code Search

Most of our listing do not include the 5 + 4 digit zip codes, so limit your zip code searches to the first 5 digits.  A wildcard feature is available to list the first few digits of the zip code to retrieve all listing in an area.  For instance typing in a "75", the first two digits of the zip code, would return listings in the Dallas, Texas area.  Entering a "76" would return primarily Fort Worth , Texas listings.

 

City/Suburb Search

To search the surrounding suburbs within the main city type in the city or suburb name in the search box.  For instance typing in Plano into the Dallas Search pages the results would list only those listing with a Plano city name.  Realize that sometime companies will list the greater city name because it is more recognizable than the suburb name, even though it might be in Plano.  For instance a Plano business listing its address a Dallas.

 

Area Search

In about 1/2 of the U.S. key cities we cover, we have broken down restaurants into a location with in the city.  Typically these locations have boundaries not defined by a zip code, area codes, or city constraints.  Most cites for instance of a "Downtown" location or and "Airport" location.
